Sissa's Sourdough Oatmeal Honey Sandwich Loaf

from $5.00

Lunchbox shake-up! Fill your kids’ bellies with the healthiest form of school lunch to keep their busy minds in tip-top shape during the day.

One loaf yields approximately 20 slices – perfect for a week of lunches or a weekend of grilled cheese and toast!

The Story Behind the Loaf: Bill invented this recipe for our “Sissa” who didn’t like the hard outer crust of traditional sourdough and wanted something more like soft, fluffy potato bread. For years, our kids have insisted on only eating sandwiches made with Sissa’s bread for lunches. It’s just that good!

Ingredients: Bread flour, whole wheat flour, oats, water, milk, honey, butter, sourdough mother & salt

Allergens: Wheat & dairy

Storage: Keep your sourdough fresh by storing it in a plastic bag on the counter for up to 5 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze in an airtight bag.

Available to ship!

The bacterial fermentation in our sourdough process transforms grains into their safest and most nourishing form, making this loaf easier to digest and full of flavor.
